Rosies lake is perfect for the beginner or pleasure angler. At 2 acres in size it is fringed with reed beds and water lillys and there is an island at one end. Suitable for the disabled angler due to the easy access, Rosies contains a good head of Tench, Roach, Perch, Chub, Carp, Crucian Carp, Rudd and Bream – there has even been a 19lb Grass Carp caught! Some of the larger fish are taken off the top with bread and a bubble float, whilst large numbers can be caught on the feeder or pole.
Extensive works have been carried out on Rosies to include new fishing stations and improvements to the island.
No night fishing is permitted but bite alarms are now allowed as long as the volume is reduced.
