We are situated just two miles from the historic town of Battle where the famous Battle of Hastings was fought in 1066.

Wylands provides sport for anglers of all ages and abilities from tiddler bashing to specimen hunting. We have 4 specialist carp lakes holding specimens in excess of 201b and 5 multi-specimen lakes that are ideal for juniors.

At 2 miles long with 205 pegs, Wyland International Angling Centre also boasts the largest single match lake in the country.

Recently described as, "One of the best angling centres in England - if not in the whole of Europe," Wylands has attracted many well known angling personalities since its opening in the late 1970s, including Andy Little and Keith Arthur; Bob Nudd who made his 'Bagging up on the Pole' video at Wylands and the star of the 'Passion for Angling Series', Chris Yates.

Most of the lakes produce the occasional eel, the largest currently being 5lb 6oz from Middle Lake, but there are no pike in any of the waters.

As well as offering sport for resident and day ticket anglers, Wyland International Angling Centre also holds the most prestigious of matches and corporate functions.

The centre has hosted the National Police Championships, the European Police Championships and the Sainsbury's National Angling Championships.
